If I must be judged in this life, let it be by the content of my character and not by pass deeds. As human beings we have built in forgetters. Many humans have done things in life that they are not exactly proud of. It would have been while in college, or it could have been when they were even younger. These things, one would think, would be written off as childhood mistakes.
Some people climb to the top of their careers, become role models for all and then are exposed as frauds. Some are pedophiles, others are adulterers, some are thieves or worst. Yet, those seem to be forgiven and forgotten.
Me, if I must be judged in this life, let it be by the content of my character and not by pass deeds. I say this because no one is perfect. Would you rather trust someone that made mistakes as a child, paid for those mistakes and then lived an honorable life, or would you rather blindly trust? I ask because in the former you have a person that has exposed his/her hand. In other words you know what you are getting.
