New website for new forum starters

[ad]

After my frustration at how little information there is on successfully starting and maintaining an online forum, I decided to create a website geared specifically for that purpose.

While doing research for the information to provide on my site, I came across several services where you can pay to get posters to initiate your forum for you. The way those services work is that for a fee (most have a retainer type arrangement) they will provide people to post on your forum. They will initiate discussion or continue dialogue going on threads already in process. They will continue to do so until the funds are depleted, or if you like, you can add more funds for more postings. This seems to be a good idea the fees range is scale from very low to pretty steep, but…

You figure it out. My website, http://forum-starters.com, will provide free information, resources and tools to facilitate the starting of new forums. But please don’t go rushing over to my site yet, its still being tweaked and will be open for business either tomorrow May 1, 2008 or Friday May 2, 2008.

Additionally and simultaneously I will launch the sister site to the Forum Starters called the (long domain name I know, but hopefully it will be worth the writers cramp, lol) Forum Owners Posting Exchange Club, this sister site will be very similar to the paid services I referred to above, but the services will 100% free. When you visit my new site, http://four-starters.com either tomorrow 5/1/2008 or friday 5/2/2008 you will see the url.

I hope that any one starting a new forum or thinking of starting a new forum will visit the site and give me feedback.

Ok, so I will get back to you tomorrow with the final news about both these sites. Stay tuned.
